Blog 2, Open badges

Hi
It's me Fiona Scott.  I can't believe I actually managed to register for an Open Badge account.
I have learned a lot about Open Badges and how they are a digital award which can be shared on the Web.  Skills and achievements are stored in a way which makes it easy to access and share with anyone you need to share them with at any time.  Each badge is a catalogue of what you have completed and contains information with supporting evidence.  These badges, once awarded, are stored for the recipient to keep and share with whom ever needs to see them.
I can find out about open badge information through web sights such as Credmos.  If I go to events I could get the claim codes that are given out.  I can put the open badges that I earn in a backpack so I can stack and share them and use them to build pathways to help me work towards learning goals.  Open badges are a way of keeping my on going learning up to date.  The badges will collate my skills, knowledge and achievements.
I feel Open Badges are a good way to keep and share PRLT which is required by both SSSC and employers,
